PURPOSE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the conditions under which Ingrid Quan provides consultations, personalised support and treatments at the practice.

The services offered may include Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tuina, as well as the face and body treatments presented on this website.

The main characteristics, duration and prices of the various services are indicated on the relevant pages and on the Prices page.

Any booking implies that the client has read and accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

NATURE OF THE SERVICES

The services offered at the practice form part of a wellbeing approach and the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

They are not a substitute for a medical diagnosis, medical treatment or medical follow-up where these are necessary.

Ingrid Quan is neither a doctor nor a healthcare professional.

Where a situation appears to require medical advice or care, she may recommend that the client consult an appropriate healthcare professional before proceeding with or receiving certain treatments.

PRICES

The applicable prices are those displayed on the website at the time of booking or communicated to the client before the service is provided.

Prices are stated in euros.

VAT not applicable.

Ingrid Quan reserves the right to change her prices at any time.

However, a change in price will not affect the price of a service that has already been booked under previously agreed conditions.

6-SESSION PACKAGES

Certain treatments may be offered as a package.

Unless otherwise stated:

6-session package = 6 sessions, including 1 complimentary session.

The package price therefore corresponds to the price of five individual sessions.

Packages are personal and non-transferable and are intended solely for the person for whom they were purchased.

They are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

If a particular situation temporarily prevents the client from continuing the sessions, this may be discussed directly with Ingrid Quan.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS

Consultations and treatments are provided by appointment only.

Online bookings can be made through Calendly, using the booking buttons available on the website.

Where several versions, durations or treatment areas are available for the same service, each booking button corresponds to the selected service.

The client is responsible for checking the chosen treatment, its duration and its price before confirming the appointment.

An appointment may also be arranged directly with Ingrid Quan by telephone or SMS.

PAYMENT

Payment for services is made at the practice.

Payments are accepted by cheque or cash only.

Credit and debit cards are not accepted.

CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING OF AN APPOINTMENT

An appointment represents time specifically reserved for the client.

If the client is unable to attend, they are kindly asked to inform Ingrid Quan at least 24 hours before the appointment, so that the time slot may, where possible, be offered to someone else.

A booking may be rescheduled or cancelled through Calendly where this option is available, or by contacting Ingrid Quan directly.

No financial penalty is charged in the event of cancellation, even at short notice, or for a missed appointment.

However, the practice has long maintained a small tradition when an appointment is completely forgotten without any prior notice:

a bottle at the next appointment!

This tradition is, of course, intended humorously and relies entirely on everyone’s goodwill and sense of humour. It does not constitute a contractual obligation or a financial penalty.

LATE ARRIVAL

In order to respect clients attending subsequent appointments, a late arrival cannot necessarily result in the entire schedule being delayed.

Where necessary, the service may therefore be adapted to the remaining available time.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Where a service contract is concluded remotely, the consumer is in principle entitled to a 14-day withdrawal period from the date on which the contract is concluded.

Where an appointment is scheduled before the end of this period and the consumer requests that the service be provided before the expiry of the withdrawal period, the provisions of the French Consumer Code concerning the early performance of services apply.

Where the service has been fully performed before the expiry of the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal may cease if the legal requirements relating to the consumer’s prior and express consent have been met.

For services that have begun before the expiry of the withdrawal period at the consumer’s express request, the legal provisions relating to the portion of the service already provided remain applicable.

CONDITIONS FOR PROVIDING TREATMENTS

As every person is different, the sensations experienced and the results of personalised support or a treatment may vary from one person to another.

No specific result can be guaranteed.

Ingrid Quan adapts her approach according to the person, their needs and what she observes at the time of the appointment.

She may decide not to provide a service, to adapt it, or to suggest another approach if she considers that the treatment initially planned is not appropriate for the situation.

INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE CLIENT

To enable the treatment to be provided under the best possible conditions, the client is asked to disclose any information that may be relevant or that may require particular precautions.

It is the client’s responsibility to seek medical advice where their situation requires it.

The client is also asked to report any significant change occurring between two appointments where it may affect the treatment.

FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party may be held liable for a delay, cancellation or inability to fulfil an obligation resulting from an event of force majeure within the meaning of French law.

If Ingrid Quan is unable to attend an appointment, it will be rescheduled as soon as reasonably possible.

Where applicable, any amount already paid for a service that ultimately cannot be provided will be refunded.

COMPLAINTS

In the event of any difficulty concerning a service, the client is invited to contact Ingrid Quan first so that an amicable solution may be sought.

Any complaint may be addressed to:

CONSUMER MEDIATION

Following a prior complaint addressed directly to Ingrid Quan, and where no satisfactory amicable solution has been reached, the consumer may use the consumer mediation service responsible for the practice, free of charge.

A mediation request may be submitted directly online via the CM2C website or sent by post.

CM2C states that evidence of the prior complaint made to the professional must be provided when the dispute is submitted.

APPLICABLE LAW

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution.

Recourse to a consumer mediator does not prevent either the consumer or the professional from subsequently referring the matter to the competent court where the dispute could not be resolved amicably.

CHANGES TO THESE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be amended to reflect changes in the business, the services offered or applicable regulations.

The version applicable is the version available on the website at the time of booking.
