L’IMPÉRATRICE
When Chinese tradition meets the art of facial care.
I imagined L’Impératrice as a meeting point between the traditional tools of Traditional Chinese Medicine and my approach to facial care.
Over time, I wanted to create a deeply soothing treatment, capable of revealing the radiance of the face while remaining faithful to the spirit of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
This is how L’Impératrice was born.
It brings together several traditional tools that I particularly appreciate for the way they complement one another:
- Gua Sha;
- facial cupping;
- jade roller;
- Ridoki.
Each has its own specific purpose.
Together, they create a treatment that is soothing, refreshing and naturally revitalising.
An approach inspired by Chinese tradition
For centuries, these tools have been used to support circulation, encourage drainage and restore radiance to the complexion.
Throughout the treatment, they are used gently, one after another.
The stones provide a pleasant feeling of coolness.
The different movements gradually invite the face to relax.
The treatment progressively becomes a true moment of calm and softness.

Why I chose this approach
What I particularly love about L’Impératrice is its atmosphere.
Originally, this treatment was inspired by beauty rituals using traditional Chinese tools that were once appreciated by empresses.
I was immediately drawn to this story.
It naturally creates a bridge between two worlds that are deeply important to me: the traditional tools of Traditional Chinese Medicine and my approach to facial care.
I love watching the features gradually relax, the face appear more rested and the complexion regain its luminosity.
Perhaps that is also what I love about this treatment: bringing gestures once reserved for empresses into the present day, and making them available to all women.
